Where the information comes from

Routes and timetables are compiled from BMTC's public passenger information, then cleaned and checked before they are published here. Each route carries a quality tier, and we say so on the page when a timetable has gaps. The data page explains exactly what we have and what's missing.

What we don't do yet

There is no live bus tracking, no stop-by-stop timing and no fare information yet. We would rather show less than show something we can't stand behind.

Independent

BMTC Ride is an independent service. It is not run by, endorsed by or affiliated with the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) or the Government of Karnataka. “BMTC” is used only to describe the bus services this site covers.
