Is BMTC Ride the official BMTC website?
No. BMTC Ride is an independent service and is not affiliated with BMTC or the Government of Karnataka.
Where do the bus timings come from?
From BMTC's public passenger information. They are scheduled departures, not live positions, so buses can run early or late.
Why can't I see morning buses?
These timetables were collected between 12:15 PM and 2:06 PM on 6 September 2026. BMTC's timetable service only returns trips that have not yet run that day, so morning departures (and, for some routes, early-afternoon ones) are missing. Full-day timings are being added.
What do the colours on route numbers mean?
A blue edge marks Vajra (air-conditioned) routes, teal marks Vayu Vajra airport routes, and purple marks Metro Feeder routes. Plain plates are ordinary city services.
How do I find my platform at Majestic?
Open the Kempegowda Bus Station (Majestic) page and use the platform finder. It lists every route BMTC assigns to each platform and bay.
Why does the trip planner say there's no direct bus?
We currently know where each route starts and ends. Buses that only pass through your stop aren't matched yet, so try a nearby bus station.
Is there live bus tracking?
Not yet. Every time on the site is a scheduled departure.
Do I need an account?
No. Everything on the site is free and works without signing in.
