Source
Routes, terminals and scheduled departures come from BMTC's public passenger timetable service. We collect them, then run them through a checked pipeline that merges duplicate stations, cleans up route numbers, and refuses to publish a dataset that is suddenly much smaller than the last one.
Quality tiers
Every route variant is tagged with how complete its timetable is:
- Complete (1,427 variants): both directions have enough departures to be trusted.
- Has gaps (1,639): departures exist but look incomplete. We show them with a note.
- Unverified (2,359): BMTC lists the route, but its timetable is missing or couldn't be matched. We show the route without inventing times.
Known gaps
- These timetables were collected between 12:15 PM and 2:06 PM on 6 September 2026. BMTC's timetable service only returns trips that have not yet run that day, so morning departures (and, for some routes, early-afternoon ones) are missing. Full-day timings are being added.
- We know where each route starts and ends, but not yet every stop in between.
- There is no live tracking and no fare information yet.

If something is wrong, email info@bmtcride.in. Accepted corrections are added to the pipeline so they survive every future update.
